Summary: A Gentle women notices Lady Macbeths weird habits of sleep walking. She goes on about the the murders of Lady Macduff and Banquo. She keeps seeing blood on her hands she keeps washing off. (OCD)

Act 5 Scene 2:

Characters: Menteith, Caithness, Angus and Lennox
Location: Outside Macbrths Castl ein Dunsinane

Summary: Macbeth soilders decide Macbeth is a bad King and join forces with the enemies.

Characters: Macbeth, Servant and Doctor.
Location: Dunsinane

Summary: Macbeth isn’t threatened by the English Army because he thinks he is immortal. The doctor tells Macbeth that his wife is mentally ill and there is nothing the doctor can do about it

Quote: “Until Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane Hill Shall come agsint him”

Act 5 Scene 4:

Characters: Malcom, Siward, Macduff, Siwards Son, Mentheith, Caithness, Angus, Lennox, Rosse and soldiers.
Location: dunsiname

Summary: The soldiers each cut down a branch of from Birnam woods to use as disguise to move towards Macbeths castle in disguise.

Quote:

Act 5 Scene 5:

Characters: Macbeth, Seyton and Soilders

Summary: Macbeth is told that his wife is dead predicted from sucide. Macbeth is also notified by the messenger that the Birnam woods are moving closer to the castle. Macbeth decides if he is going to die it might as well be from fighting

Quote: “It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.”

Act 5 Scene 6:

Characters: Malcom, Seyward and Macduff

Summary: Malcom decides it is time to draw they swords

Act 5 Scene 7:

Characters: Macbeth, Young Siward, Macduff, Siward and Malcom.

Summary: Macbeth is killing everyone around him including young Siward. He isn’t threatened because nothing women born can kill him.

Act 5 Scene 8:

Characters: Macbeth and Malcom

Summary: Macduff challanges Macbeth to a battle but Macbeth tells him he is wasting his time because he cant be hurt. macduff tells him he was born by a cizerian so he can hurt Macbeth. Macbeth dies.

Quote: “You can forget about your charm. The evil spirit you serve can tell you that I was not born. They cut me out of my mother’s womb before she could bear me naturally.”
